Canada’s annual holiday music celebration continues this year with some of the most popular tunes in recent memory.

Here are the top 10.


Canadian Bob Dylan – “I Wanna Be Your Baby” (The Big River) Canada’s top-selling songwriter and guitarist Bob Dylan has recorded two songs that are top sellers in the U.S. for the first time, according to data compiled by Billboard.

The Canadian-made song is No. 1 on Billboard’s annual Christmas Albums chart and No. 4 on the American chart.

The tune, released on Dec. 22, became Dylan’s fifth No.1 Christmas single, following the “Blowin’ In The Wind” from his 1973 debut album.

Dylan’s second hit, “I Want You To Know,” also topped the charts, topping the Billboard Hot 100 in its second week of release.


Queen – “We Are the Champions” (Boys Don’t Cry) The Canadian pop singer has sold more than 4.4 million copies of her third studio album, which also includes two songs of her “We’re the Champions.”

The song peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 in 2016, which is the same year she was crowned Canada’s Queen of Pop.

Queen has also topped Billboard’s album charts for five consecutive years, which dates to 2014.


The Rolling Stones – “The Star-Spangled Banner” (Black Sabbath) Singer-songwriter Robert Plant has long been known as a top-charting producer, thanks to his collaborations with artists including Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé.

But his recent breakthrough album, Black Sabbath, has been the highest-charted in his 15-year career, and the Stones’ fourth studio album is a top seller.

Plant’s lyrics are often lighthearted and playful, but his songs often have a somber undertone, according the Associated Press.

The lyrics of “The Stoned King,” which is set to hit the top of the U,K., U.A.C.C., Billboard 200 and U.K. chart, are “We will all miss you.”


Sting – “Bad Blood” (Sting) The British pop singer is known for his upbeat, raucous songs and covers of songs by the Beatles and Elvis Presley.

He released the singles “Bad Heart” and “Bad Love” in 2018.


Bruce Spring.

– “Til It’s Gone” (Springsteen) The American singer-songger is a frequent songwriter, recording three top-20 singles in his 16-year-long career.

He has been a fixture on the charts for nearly a decade, topping Billboard’s Hot 100 at the same time as the pop star.

He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 and in 2017, and in 2018 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the National Recording Museum.


Bob Dylan and The Rolling Thunder – “Candyman” (Torn) Dylan recorded his first No. 2 hit, a cover of the Beatles’ “I’ll Be There,” in 1974.

Since then, he has been one of the biggest pop acts in the world, earning six Grammy Awards, three Grammy nominations and more than 10 million copies sold worldwide.

He also has sold millions of records worldwide.


The Who – “Dancing Queen” (Dancing With The Stars) The iconic British rock band recorded its biggest chart-topping hit in the early 1990s, a collaboration with The Beatles.

Since its release in 1999, it has sold over five million copies worldwide.


Prince – “You Got Me” (Prince) Prince’s hit single “You’re Welcome” became the first song to top the U’s pop charts.

It has sold nearly 4.3 million copies and topped the Billboard 100.


The Killers – “One Night Only” (Blues Brothers) One of rock’s biggest stars, the pop band The Kill and their longtime manager, Scott Weiland, have sold more albums in their career than any other artists combined.

The band’s biggest hit, 1989’s “One More Night,” has topped the Hot 100 since it was released in March, and The Kill are still going strong.


Bruno Mars – “Wolves” (Red) Mars is the latest singer-actress to sell millions of albums worldwide, having sold more in her career than all of the top 20 U.,K.

artists combined, according a Billboard tally.

She has a hit with the song “Red,” which was recorded by producer Mark Ronson and is one of her most successful singles.

She is also the top-earning female artist in the history of the chart.
